Ingredients

  • 1 6 oz Can of Tomato Paste
  • 2 tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • ½ cup Finely Diced Onion or 1 tsp onion powder
  • 12 oz water
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1-2 TBSP cooking oil of choice butter, avocado oil, tallow or lard

Instructions

  • Place a medium sized sauce pan on medium-low heat. Add your cooking oil of choice to the pan.
  • Once the pan is warm, add the finely diced onion and saute until translucent.
  • After the onion is translucent, add the dry seasonings and tomato paste to the pan. Stir and cook until fragrant.
  • Once fragrant, add the water and mix until well incorporated.
  • Use immediately or let cool and transfer to an air-tight container to store in the fridge or freezer until use.
