Begin by slicing your Orange into even slices approximately ⅛-¼ inch in thickness.
If using a dehydrator, follow the instructions included in your dehydrator.
If you’re using an oven, preheat the oven to the lowest temperature it will go (ideally 200°F or lower).
Evenly place the orange slices in a single layer on a baking sheet prepared with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
Add the baking sheet of sliced oranges to the preheated oven and bake for 2-4 hours.
During the 2-4 hour timeframe, be sure to flip the oranges every 20-30 minutes.
When the orange slices are rigid and dry to the touch, remove the pan of orange slices and let cool to room temperature.
Gently blot the orange slices with a towel or paper towel.
Once cool, poke two holes on either side of the dried orange and string the oranges in a line.
Secure your oranges in place by putting a small dot of hot glue on the orange. Hold your string of choice down into the glue until it cools.
Continue this process until all your oranges are secured.
Once all your oranges are strung, hang or place your garland anywhere and enjoy!
