A small funnel
A small measuring cup
- 40 Drops of Essential oils see notes for some scent combinations
- 2 TBSP Witch hazel
- 7 Oz Filtered or distilled water
- An 8oz spray bottle
To your 8 oz spray bottle, add 2 tbsp witch hazel and 40 drops of the essential oils of your choice.
Fill the remainder of your bottle with 7 oz of filtered or distilled water.
Shake well and spray away!
Important Note: The essential oils can separate when the spray bottle is undisturbed. To ensure the scent is in each spray, be sure to shake well before each use.
Essential oil Combinations for Homemade Air Freshener
- Citrus & Mint – 10 drops lemon, 10 drops sweet orange, 10 drops grapefruit & 10 drops peppermint
- Lavender & Lemon – 20 drops of each
- Eucalyptus & Lemon – 20 drops of each
- Winter Spice – 12 drops cinnamon, 12 drops vanilla & 6 drops clove
- Winter Forest – 10 drops pine, 10 drops eucalyptus, 10 drops balsam fir & 10 drops
- Woodsy – 10 drops cedarwood, 10 drops sandalwood, 10 drops pine & 10 drops rosemary
