Equipment

  • High Power Blender Or Immersion Blender
  • Fine Mesh Seive
  • Glass Jar with an airtight lid
  • Funnel
  • Cheesecloth Optional

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Sliced Ginger Root
  • 4 Lemons
  • 1-4 tbsp Raw Honey optional
  • tsp Cayenne Powder
  • 1 cup Filtered Water

Instructions

  • Roughly chop ginger root and add to the blender
  • Remove the rind from the lemon and add to the blender.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • Once smooth, strain the mixture into the air tight jar.
  • After the mixture has stopped dripping through the strainer, press the pulp to release more juice.
  • Enjoy a fresh ginger shot!
  • Secure airtight lid and store in the fridge.
  • Enjoy for a week or transfer into an ice cube tray.
