Dill Dip – Quick and Easy with Greek Yogurt Recipe

This dill dip is one of the best dips to make when you need something to bring to a party or for a quick dipping sauce to enjoy. Even when using dried herbs, this dip provides a bright and fresh flavor to any application.

What is in dill dip?

The base of this dip is greek yogurt. Using greek yogurt as the base allows this dip to have the similar texture as sour cream with extra protein and healthy probiotics.

The rest of the recipe consists of herbs and seasonings including dill, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder and salt. While you can use fresh options, this recipe calls to use dried ingredients. This allows you to keep all the ingredients on hand so you can make this delicious recipe at a moment’s notice. Using dried ingredients also allows you to make the mix in bulk and scoop some out when you need it.

What to serve with dill dip?

Most commonly, dill dip accompanies a veggie tray but will also go well with chips, crackers, pretzels or bread.

For vegetables, the classic veggie tray options include broccoli, carrots, celery, peppers and cucumber. Any combination of these or other veggies will surely be enjoyed wherever you’re taking this dip.

Other ways to use Dill Dip

While dill dip is typically used with hors d’oeuvres, it can also be used for other applications like a sauce for dipping crispy potatoes or chicken kabobs at a barbeque.

Adding a bit of milk to this dip can thin it out. Having a thinner consistency will allow this to be used as a salad dressing or as a chicken marinade!
