Homemade Air Freshener, a Simple and Easy Recipe

Having a home that smells fresh and clean is wonderful. However, if you live in a climate that’s freezing half the year, you know it’s not always ideal to open a window when your home needs a little refresh. Using this easy DIY homemade air freshener is the perfect way to help refresh the air in your home without compromising the air quality.

Why make your own air freshener?

The typical air freshener that can be found at almost any convenience store is loaded with artificial fragrance and aerosol. With the ingredients in these commercial air fresheners being questionable at best, they’re not something you want to spray in your home and breathe in on a regular basis.

Making your own air freshener will allow you to use simple and safer ingredients than anything else you can find.

What makes homemade air freshener different?

Homemade airfreshener is different for many reasons. First, homemade airfreshener is made with only a few simple ingredients. All of these ingredients will be easy to pronounce and have a far less negative impact on the health of you and your family.

Next, you get to determine the scent of your air freshener is by the essential oils you choose. If you love to change your air freshener with the seasons, it’s as simple as changing what essential oils you use!

Along with being quick and easy to make, homemade air freshener can be made in large batches. The strength of scent is also able to be changed with each batch.
